As part of the Petaling District of Selangor, this area is border by Sungai Buloh in the north, Subang Jaya to the south, Shah Alam west and of course Kuala Lumpur in the east. The tourist neighbourhoods are known as kejiranan and offer a range of local attractions and food types. Here is what makes Petaling Jaya a great holiday destination.

Numerous shopping malls can be found at Damansara, the retail nexus of Petaling Jaya. You have some of the county’s most notable complexes at this hub. From electronics to clothing and cuisine, there is an abundance of goods for sale here.
Gaze over seven spectacular lakes. Kelana Jaya Lake Park is a once mining area which is today transformed into a large sporting area spanning seven lakes. There is a sports stadium, two Olympic-sized swimming pools and a jogging track which follows the perimeter of the lakes.
Getting Around: Despite Petaling Jaya’s large size, it is fairly easy to get around, thanks to the extensive road and rail network transporting you to and from this city. The local bus service is extremely handy, while more than enough taxis are readily available. The light rail transport is another great choice for traversing Petaling Jaya.
