Book a junior suite, room is clean and bed is comfortable . Only issues is the hot water in the bathroom, it’s always burning hot when showering no matter which direction you turn. Need to keep the curtain always closed as room assigned to me is 13th floor and outside is a sort of a landing platform for roof assess and people can look in your room if curtain not drawn. 13tg floor is too quiet and given near a corner room, abit.. Breakfast is normal . Staff are very friendly . Location is very convenience to reach most tourist spot and shopping mall.

Anyone coming to Melaka must stay in this hotel. Might be bit over budget for individuals but worth every penny. Don't forget to go visit swimming pool. Great staff. Overall an amazing experience. Cheers to Hatten Hotel.

My booking included breakfast. I needed to check out by 6am (the breakfast opened at 6:30am) the last day, so asked the front desk the day before to pack a breakfast bag for me, and the front desk confirmed that I could pick up my breakfast at the front desk when checking out. Surprisingly, the lady at the front desk could not find my breakfast at the time of checkout. She then asked me to confirm I had requested a breakfast, and checked their system to further confirm it. She then told me they would have to start to prepare it now. After more than 10 minutes since I started to speak with her, the breakfast was still not ready. I had no option but to leave the hotel to catch my booked bus to KLIA without my breakfast. Why does the hotel charge for breakfast if it cannot fulfill it?

The 30sq-metre room is big and spacious, clean room, very friendly staffs, great, comfortable and quiet room, very accessible location and about 15-20min walk to Jonker street. We were surprised with a birthday cake from hotel staff as one of our family member’s birthday month. Thank you so much and will come back on our next trip. Only downside is the room main windows is facing close to another rooms, but it ok as we were always outside.
