"I paid for a newly renovated room, I checked in and they gave my room to someone else. They put us in a different room and said we would have to move rooms, which wasn’t a newly renovated room. Terrible!!"

"The property was dated and the well used. The rooms smelt like smoke and things were broken. Certain things you expect have to be requested. The gym equipment was almost non existent. Some of the staff was very rude/curt as well. The pool was nice and the food at the restaurants was delicious especially cheri. But as for the hotel, we will not be staying here again. "

"When we called to advise we needed an upgrade to our room, your staff was the most pleasant and professional to us. We were going to be charged an additional fee, but through a conversation it was deemed to be withdrawn. Though this may se to be minor, customer service like this is so important and we were made to feel valued. We often use Expedia and for this positive interaction, we will be continuing to do so with confidence. Vacation time is very exciting and having a pleasant experience...

"Outdoor pool should open longer"

"Clean room. Love the proximity to everything at this property. None of the rooms are a long walk, so it is perfect for people with mobility issues. Can be at the Linq Promenade from anywhere within the property in 5 minutes or less. "

"The skyrise tower elevators were a complete nightmare. Every time we needed to come down or up to our room we’d waste easily 40-60 mins. COMPLETE NIGHTMARE."

"Hotel was nice but older. There is NO place to just sit or stand at a table and relax. No place inside the casino to talk to friends who don’t gamble. The room was clean and very comfortable but did not have a microwave. Bathrooms are old and both sink and shower never drained right. The age of the place has to do with that. I still give the hotel a solid B"

"Everything was "fine". We booked 3 rooms for work, and all 3 had some discomfort with the beds. The room had a fridge that was completely useless because it was filled with stupid over priced drinks, and we couldn't put our own food in. In the past, we stayed at the Signature at MGM (which is what we will return to in the future), so we didn't realize what a step down we were taking when we booked at the MGM. My TLDR would be, just book at the signature, it's so much better. But, the MGM staff...

"Stayed here for a quick 3 day weekend in NYC and enjoyed my stay. They allowed us to check our bags in early so that we start our activities immediately. The check in process was smooth and there weren’t any surprise fees. The room was clean but they only provided towels, soap lotion and coffee. The room did not come with a mini bar/snacks or any toiletries such as tooth paste or shower caps which was not a big deal personally. "We began staying at the grove many years ago when it opened. Since then, cleanliness has declined, and many rooms (we've stayed in the last few years). need serious fixing and upgrading (cabinets and dressers falling apart, showers needs updating, hallways to rooms are constantly full of garbage people leave out, and overall dirt and grime) It is not what it use to be."
