I go to Vegas very often due to my job. I find this hotel affordable and very conveniently located. It is decent, not a luxury hotel, but it is easy to access, staff is always friendly, and the rooms are well maintained.

Obviously, the resorts all have fees, but I feel like this resort has probably the least to offer in terms of what to see and do and I’m paying to essentially leave my hotel every day to go see the places that are actually really nice. For example, next-door is the New York, New York and they have a fabulous arcade, the arcade at the Excalibur was mediocre. Being constantly bombarded with timeshare vouchers and offers was really overwhelming too. It wasn’t nearly as bad at any other hotel. And my room upgrade, which I paid extra money for, wasn’t really much of an upgrade. I’ve had similar hotel rooms at best western. It was overall decent and for the price you’re paying it’s a great place to stay, especially if you’re on a budget. It was definitely the most affordable in terms of the buffet and drinks and food and that was a plus, but there was also pretty decently priced food next-door at the New York, New York and the eating area. There was fabulous to sit in. I can see how Excalibur would be a good place for kids to stay with their families. But I would like to stay at one of the nicer hotels on the strip where there’s a little more action and things to do and see for the amount of money and time I’m spending.

Excalibur is always a good experience. On the perfect spot for strip trips. Walking distance to all major casinos, resturants, and bars on the strip. The rooms are spacious and clean. I will always recommend the Excalibur to anyone looking to vacation to Vegas. The check in and out process and use of the digital key through the MGM app is most helpful, 10/10 recommend!

I am not impressed with paying a “resort fee” for a room that is motel style. The outdoor of the property is lovely and there are a lot of food options at the hotel. The rooms however are very disappointing. Outdated very loud and dusty AC unit. Do not pay for the newly renovated rooms because it’s a hoax. Rooms were dusty, stains on the windows and countertops. Light fixtures were rusted as well as the toilet. When asked what was upgraded in the room, we were told the headboards for the beds. Booked for a nearby conference, spent 4 nights.

Could not find reservations at self-check in, had to get help. Water was not fit to drink, very dirty. Even though I paid for advance parking $60 for 4 days, room key did not operate the gate. Had to pay each time I exited the parking lot, extra $75, one day my credit card was double charged, $50. Tried to explain to management, only got $60 reimbursed. Very bad experience with that. The good side was, beds were very comfortable.

I originally booked a room with a fridge, our first room didn't have one. So we had to be moved to a new room. I also wish that the pool being closed could have been disclosed when booking. My girls poor hearts that they never got to swim.

TV very blurry and difficult to watch. Not sure of the deal. At check in had issues had to ask for help. Twice person helping walks away though I still was not completely sure I had everything done. When you have a new system it's possible everyone might be new to it and you usually help someone until they are done not walk away. It seems customer service everywhere is going away. It's do things yourself and people are left on their own. All to save 💰💰. It's too bad.

I will start by saying, I know you always get what you pay for, so I was not expecting a ton. With that said, the room was fairly well cleaned, staff was nice, and it's a classic Vegas hotel. My issue started with the check in process, it was all kiosk check in, and if you try to check in with a front desk agent they tell you to go to the kiosk, this should be optional and not mandatory (I prefer to keep people employed). I used a phone tap payment at the kiosk, after waiting for a half hour for our room to "be ready", I was told it was because the kiosks don't do well with phone taps. The hotel is one of the older ones in Vegas, so their windows do not block sound at all, I was on the 23rd floor and was constantly woke up from traffic noises. Also, I found that besides a couple of screws that could be easily removed, the windows are able to be opened. One of the windows in my room was missing said screws and was able to open... Yikes! Considering I'm 23 floors up in a place known for drinking and people doing dumb stuff. Dining options were somewhat limited with what seemed like half the food court options closed most of the time. Not to mention paying $23 for a fast food burger. Overall, in a pinch I would stay again, but I would gladly spend a little extra for a newer property.

Checking in was a bit difficult. The woman I asked assistance from when first checking in was very rude. Like she hated her job. I politely asked her for help and she immediately responded with attitude and she was literally just standing there. Other than that the room was nice the beds were comfy and everyone else was kind.

Great we went with our kids and it was a great total to stay in, keep in mindd $20 per day if you have a CAR and you can park in any MGM hotel !

We booked king room got to room two DOUBLE beds called front desk said no king are available so unpacked !! Went down to customer service she said she had room for us set it up great but when doing so made so went couldn’t get into our old room to do luggage 1.5 hours later made the change 🙈
