I am not sure why, but checking into this hotel was a nightmare, with a nearly 1 hour wait in a very long line just to check into a room that was booked months ago. I have stayed here before and this is not customary. We did receive a room upgrade, but after a day of travel I would have like to get to my room asap. I wish Luxor would change to a completely smoke-free facility.

We stayed here for 10 days. paid in advance. The housekeeping staff were wonderful. the room was good the bed comfortable. we were in vegas for 2 weeks for basketball tournaments so we didnt spend too much time at the hotel, after the 1st week we were winding down getting ready for bed and security came to our door. THe front desk manager brought security to our room threatening to have myself and my kids put out if i didnt pay the resort fees and parking thru the rest of our stay. this was a shock to me. I had no problem paying it but the fact that they showed up at our door to escort us downstairs and threated up put us out over some resort fees and parking fees was a huge problem for me. We had not charged things to the room that were unpaid NOTHING. i will never stay at this hotel or recommend to anyone else. there are way better options if you stay on the strip. CHEAPER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER!
