"The fire alarm in my room went off on my first night at 4am. I asked why and was told it was a false alarm. The staff told me I wouldn’t be charged for the luggage storage I paid for but conveniently forgot about that. And at one point the digital key needed to access the buildings and room wasn’t working. We had to bang on the front door to get into the building and then had to be escorted to the room. This is possibly a “get what you paid for” situation, but it could have been better."

It has never been a great hotel experience to begin with, BUT it always was good value for money, nice staff, and (for my purpose) a very convenient, central location. All good enough for me to return multiple times over the years. This time I arrived 90 minutes prior to regular check-in time (and aware of the fact) being body-blocked from entering the lobby by an employee at the front...

"I loved how close it was to the train station. Rooms were clean and beds very comfy. Having a fridge in the room was good kept juice cold. Staff were outstanding happy to help in any way. Would definitely recommend ti any looking for stay in London."
