Found the bunk bed to be quite uncomfortable but I’m particular about needing a soft mattress"

"Pretty standard classic old style hotel, nothing fancy. Very convenient to Paddington station, reasonable cost, good value. Decent breakfast. No A/C, so beware if traveling in summer. (They do provide you with a fan) I was satisfied with my stay."

"The rooms are, as you might expect, tiny, but perfect for a night or two's stay, where you're not going to be using the room much except for sleeping. No kettle, though there are drinks machines in reception. The air conditioning in the room is brilliant, a real plus in the current hot spell. Plenty of cafes locally with breakfast options. Bed was very comfy, and although both bedroom and en suite were small, there is room under the bed to place larger cases. The staff are a real asset to...

"Staff are really friendly and helpful. It was no problem to leave my suitcase and pick it up later. Room was basic - as advertised - but excellent for the price. Had a balcony overlooking Sussex Gardens street. The bathrooms are shared, and quite small, but clean, new and fully functional. I will stay here again."

"We had a basic room. Minimal storage (6 hangers 4 shelves). A basic "green" hotel with linen and towel change every 4 days. Using their system to request more towels and toilet paper was not responded to and we had to go get them ourselves. Breakfast buffet was good but not much variety. Lobby Staff were all courteous. You need to climb stairs to get to the check-in so pack light."
