"The room is basically a bed and a bathroom. No amenities, not even a wash cloth or a true hand towel (although there are towels and floor mats). I ended up using the floor mat as a wash cloth and asking for a second to use as a hand towel. No water glasses. Great blackout blinds."

"Expedia was a nightmare to deal with on this honeymoon trip. Our plans were disrupted by flight cancellations, which is understandable, but the Expedia Rep said we would receive a refund for the two nights that we were stranded. After we were charged the full amount, Expedia was nowhere to be found. We’ll never use them again!!"

"The property is very nicely located, steps from Charing Cross station. Which is a quick to ride to any of the Gatwick trains. My biggest issue was when I arrived. There was absolutely no air-conditioning in the room. The Front Desk was very disinterested in helping. They showed up with a fan that had clearly been left in the hallway from the previous occupants of the room who had the same complaint. "I have stayed at this hotel several times this year, mainly due to its convenient location. On this occasion the room was very tired looking with broken or inadequate furniture and both the room and the bathroom in need of modernisation and redecoration. The room was also very cold, the hotel heating apparently being turned off on a fixed date without any allowance given for the variable English Summer temperatures. The room was also rather noisy with an adjoining room door and presumably thin...
