"Rooms were fairly clean, but there were two old cigarette butts in the bathroom. Bathroom window was open and so far up we couldn’t reach it. Bathroom smelled like sewage every morning and often at night. Some ants in the common areas. Very few dishes. Staff were helpful and parking and access were easy and uncomplicated. "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel. The staff at the reception, concierge, and housekeeping were all exceptionally helpful, friendly, and prompt in providing excellent service. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also offers complimentary afternoon snacks and drinks daily from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, which was a lovely and much-appreciated touch. The location is excellent, with many shopping malls, restaurants, and cafés all within walking distance, making it very convenient to explore the Bukit Bintang area. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend The Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. We would be happy to stay here again on our next visit."
