"The Sheraton Hyde Park is placed in ideal situation walking distance from a number of outdoor space such as Hyde Park, malls and is 20 minutes walking to the opera House and or the ROCKS. Very well centralised it is in the core of Sydney with very high end shopping, attractions, cafe and restaurants."

"Entrance to hotel hard to find on the street as its not sign posted except for a small QT up high above your head in one spot. You need to take a lift up to reception, again not sign posted anywhere except in the lift. Room was nice, bed comfy, nice bathroom. Need to take a few stairs to our floor but reception offered to take our luggage up. "

"The unit was clean, in good condition, and the bed was comfortable. Instant coffee, teabags, sweeteners, and milk were available in the room along with an electric kettle. Check in and out was simple and quick, staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again."

"I stayed here for 2 nights. High expectations due to rating of 9,8 and price of 750Euro for 2 nights In that respect, It was a disappointment. It’s a nice hotel, central, okish. Staff very helpful and friendly….but few When I arrived , I thought it was a mistake. Its among many hostels, and outside/entrance reminded me of a boutique small hotel/hostel.. I stayed in Lyall Melbourne. That was a true 5 star boutique hotel in a very nice area. Ok, prices differ between Sydney and Melbourne, but...

"The staff were super helpful and accommodating. We arrived earlier than the check in time and they were quick to give us our room. Location is perfect to get around, room is immaculate. We will come here for our next visit for sure."

"Nice Hotel close to the Theatre Royal. Appreciated the upgrade to a King room. Shower was good and the bed was comfortable. The Metro and the Light Rail were both out of service. Walking distance from St James Station. Not much open around the area on a Sunday morning. Breakfast was in a little Cafe near the back entrance to the Hotel. The Verandah Bar is nearby for Lunch or Dinner."

"We let them know our flight landed at 9am and they had our room ready when we arrived. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The amenities were great. The location was walking distance to everything, including all area transportation options, including the cruise port. Breakfast was an amazing assortment and delicious. We will definitely stay again if we travel to Sydney again. "

"Things got stolen on two occasions. I asked the staff to check the cctv and they seemed very reluctant and then agreed to. They said where I was located was the one area they don’t have cctv. Overall I felt quite unsafe when staying there and the staff didn’t take my concerns very seriously at all, I think because they’re all travelling themselves and staying at the hostel. It doesn’t seem like there is any authority or professionalism. Other things. No towels to rent, but then saw others...
