"I loved this hotel, it was in a very convenient location with train and buses close to the door and nice restaurants nearby. I enjoyed the 5k run from the hotel to the harbour as suggested on the wellness page of the hotels website. Only downside was being woken by a fire alarm which was a human announcement in my room - for a brief moment in my half asleep state I thought the person was in the room with me but it was just a tannoy announcement!"

"Lovely welcoming attentive staff, great breakfast and spacious room. Nice pool too. I gave four stars instead of five because our room had aircon issues so we were cold the whole time. The tech came but it was a bit of a ‘wait and see’ situation and by the time we got in after our night out, we were too tired to request changing rooms."

"The Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel is a superb historic pub in an old stone building in the Rocks neighborhood of Sydney just near Circular Quay 1 km and the southern end of Sydney harbour bridge. Often when walking in the area, you will get great views of the Bridge. Barangaroo Metro station is 400m walk away. Use the lifts in the culture center just as you exit the metro and 100m away, slightly left. Connects to airport via Central station. The king bed room with ensuite bathroom had stone interior...

"I specifically chose this property because of the car parking. Even though I selected ‘free parking’ in my search options, it wasn’t until check in that I was informed that parking was a considerable extra cost per night. This was an extra expense that was not budgeted for, causing me to locate more affordable parking that was an inconvenient distance from the accommodation.
