"Great location, wonderful rooftop view, community kitchen was a huge plus. Our room was very quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. The common space was cleaned well daily. The bunk beds have curtains - great for giving our teens privacy while on their devices and we were resting. This was our family’s first stay at a hostel and I would love to stay here again. I also liked the history lessons around the property."

"First of all, our VIP status was not recognised at any point during check in - we did later get an apple & orange left in our room with a little note but that’s all. location was excellent for seeing lots of things within walking distance. Didn’t use the hotel car park as was far too expensive but we did use the Wilson Angel 1 and it was literally less than a month walk for half the price. "Hard to understand how this hotel has a 4.5 stars rating. It was great to have lots of space, but the decor etc is very tired. The porcelain in both hand basins was crazed, the internal door hinges squeaked loudly and the daily room service was always very late (after 4pm) and very rough."
