"Stayed at the Courthouse Hotel Darlinghurst and had a mixed but generally decent experience.
It’s an older building converted into a budget hotel, and the biggest plus is definitely the location. It’s very central and convenient. About 20 minutes’ walk to Central Station, 20 minutes by bus to the CBD, and around 30 minutes to Bondi Beach, making it easy to get around Sydney.
The surrounding area has plenty of restaurants and bars (LGBTQ-friendly), and despite that, the room was mostly quiet....

"Good, basic hotel, close to shops/restaurants. Staff were great and super helpful. Room was clean and perfect for our needs. 15-20min walk to Hyde Park but also close to King's Cross station. Highly recommend Algorithm cafe for breakfast just a 5 min walk away :)"

"Rooms are comfortable and sufficient for the price you pay. While the variety on offer for breakfast can become repetitive if staying for more than a few days, the quality is good. Barista made coffee is a nice touch. Staff were friendly and very helpful, providing us with an early check in after we arrived very early and storing bags with no hassle on the last day. I would recommend this hotel for a budget friendly option in an accessible location for everything Sydney has to offer."

"Great location and value. Perfect for young couples or solo travellers. It's much better than a hostel, but similar in amenities. Shared bathroom and showers. The bar itself is not too noisy, but the street itself is. Lots of people racing by or yelling in the street can be difficult to sleep. I would stay again. "

"It was good but would have expected better.
Firstly there was a problem seemingly caused by Expedia - we had booked for 2 adults and 1 child in a single room. But the Expedia confirmation only said 2 adults. Confusing and ended up resolving it at the hotel without too much hassle. Good service tbh.

"We only stayed one night. Clean room and nice staff however they are short of some toiletries, i suggest to Bring your own toiletries they only have shower gel. Also when we took a shower water all over the places be careful we used the bath towel to remover extra water. Good thing we only stayed here for one night due to early morning flight."
