The property was in great location. Close to shops and restaurants. Bonnie is great asset to your hotel. She was very nice, pleasant and knowledgeable. She helped me get a motorized bike. Room service was great. I received my meal in a timely manner.

The hotel was nice and in a great location but the staff at the front desk weren’t very friendly or helpful. They seemed surprised when I asked for help to get the luggage to the room. And it felt like an inconvenience. Overall the hotel and rooms were clean and well presented.

This wonderful Intercontinental Hotel is the place that we immediately decided to book the next time we come to Sydney. From the check in to check out the hotel staff was very attentive and kind. A perfect location near the Sydney Opera house and easy to hop on and off the L2,3 circular quay trams (Light Train here). Hotel was super clean as well.

Our experience staying at the Intercontinental Sydney hotel was fenomenal. The staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. The room service and food was very good and quick. Another thing we loved about this hotel was the location- it was excellent, perfect to explore the city and sightseeing.

This is not a 5 star hotel. At best it is 4 star, perhaps 3.5. We checked out early and went to another hotel which was a notable improvement. Having said that, if you are looking for a 4 star hotel that gives offers an excellent location close to the waterfront, Harbour bridge, opera house, and botanic gardens, and you are content with poor service; adequate rooms; and an eclectic mix of guests which will include a lot of young families; 20 something year olds staying the CBD for a big night at the clubs; and people who think it is ok to dress like slobs at breakfast (flip flops, hot pants, sports bras, gym gear, singlets, baseball caps etc), then the Intercontinental is a good (and relatively cheap) choice. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, swipe left.

The hotel has a great location next to Circular Quay, convenient for trains, trams and ferries. The bus to Bondi (333) is virtually outside the hotel! All The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a real feature with lots of options, and the fruit and omelettes were fabulous! The bar on floor 31 offers spectacular views over the harbour, very Instagramable! I will definitely stay here on my next visit next year!
