"At the very end of its IHG corporate refit, the Monaco’s interior is now stripped of all vestiges of independent quirkiness in favor of muted chic and some oddly flimsy fittings (take care when using the soap dispenser in the shower - the caddy is less than solid). But the staff are still terrific: welcoming, attentive and warm: and the no-fuss dog policy is unchanged. "Just back from a wonderful 6 night stay . Room was large, bed comfortable , bathroom perfect (great shower and spa tub was so nice ) pool although not huge was so nice and we never had trouble getting a lounge chair by the pool . Walking distance to so many delicious restaurants and easy walk to see a baseball game. and shopping. Only complaint was the TV as it wasn’t working to get regular channels so we had to steam any TV, if we wanted to watch. Overall such a. Chill and relaxing vibe .....
