We only stayed one night, so there was not much of a chance to use all amenities; however there is a coffee bar that sells starbuck drinks located on the same level as the hotel lobby, and a Kneads bakery where they serve gluten free options"

"The hotel was in a great location but we had to park down the road the road at a public parking lot. The walls were thin and heard the whole city partying all night. When we first got there, they asked if we wanted a complimentary beverage from there fridge but then they charged us for them as an amenities fee of $26(which included the use of some beach cruiser bikes) that we didn’t even ride). "The staff especially Merry were kind, friendly, and helpful. Rooftop is a must. They have coffee, tea, ice, etc and plenty of tables and chairs either outside or indoors to chill with family and/or friends. Air conditioning worked well, and the room was clean with small fridge and microwave in a side room with a sofa and tv. It’s walking distance from Petco Park about 12 minutes and all the Gaslamp restaurants, bars, etc. "

"I’ve stayed at many other Marriott Locations and This one is by far theee best one I’ve stayed at yet. The staff was wonderful, I had a corner room with a partial City/ Bay/pool View and it was beautiful 😍 The continental buffet Breakfast was great with the different choices they had. The roof top bar was good vibes. & the hotel is literally walking distance to just about anything."

"Stayed here for 4 nights and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. I understand Moxy is meant to be more casual and compact, but the rooms felt old and not well maintained. The bed was uncomfortable, there was barely any closet or storage space, and no complimentary water in the room. Housekeeping only cleaned the room once during my entire stay, and I had to call and request it myself. Overall, the hotel feels overdue for updates and better service standards."
