"Bad:
Nobody picks up the phone, no matter what time of day you call. Check in is a kiosk machine, but doesnt work if you booked with Expedia. No fridge or microwave. Window doesn't open and looks into the middle of the building somehow?
Good:

"We stayed in room 922, while a lovely spacious quiet room, there were a few issues. Green flashing light above bed, which goes off all through the night. Asked reception 3 times to sort, eventually they covered this. The access door to the room, whenever opened it made a air sooking noise that we could hear - staff/guests opened this door for no reason. It would be good if a sign was on saying no access etc. We had to ask for the tea/coffee/milk to be replenished as it was not done so...

"It was clean. But the check in wasn’t till 3. They charged $50 for an early check in which is fine & acceptable. The part that got to me was that they didn’t hold your bags. Usually hotels hold your luggage till your room is ready. They don’t. You would have to pay about $20 per bag. Or pay the early check in."

"The property was centrally located. Although it is lacking of air conditioning, it was compensated by the friendliness and the care given to me and my group by Elena and all the staff at Mitre House.
They are all very nice and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again.

It was my first time in London, and I chose this hotel primarily because of its excellent location, which did not disappoint. The hotel itself has great potential, and the facilities were enjoyable.
