" Disappointing Stay – Poor Service and Cleanliness My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was incorrectly charged despite having prepaid. After proving I had paid, then the FD decided to double check on her side. The biggest issue, however, was the condition of the room. I found dirty underwear under the bathroom sink and a wig under the couch—completely unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint. I had to call multiple times before anyone from the front desk or housekeeping answered, and even then, it took an additional two hours for someone to come and clean the room. To make matters worse, the hotel was hosting a group of runners for the London Marathon. Despite this, they held loud events the night before, with no consideration for guests who needed to wake up early. The noise made it nearly impossible to sleep. If events are being hosted, basic planning—such as placing runners on higher floors away from the noise—should be expected. Overall, the staff came across as rude and not properly trained, and the lack of organization and attention to guest experience was very evident. I would not recommend staying here. "

"Fantastic stay for the night before wedding day. Hotel surprised with special in room amenities (cake, fruit and…champagne!). Ivana at front desk was amazing. Hotel has the best room with view of Kensington Gardens and London skyline."

"The property was clean and well taken care of. The backyard little courtyard/deck area was really lovely. The front desk staff was very nice and the location of the hotel was great, only a few minutes walk to the Tube station. The only negative was that there is no elevator in the building and I was on the 4th floor. "

"I stayed at this hotel twice (two separate stays, two different rooms) this past week and it was fine. A four star is definitely a stretch. The first room was incredibly small (as in, literally nowhere to open your luggage other than on the bed which is ew) and there were issues with the shower (water pressure and temperature). The second room was a different layout so more spacious but a little run down. Other than that, the staff were lovely and the location is great to get an away from the Central London crowds but still super convenient and walkable and the tube to both the airport and the sights is on your doorstep. I recommend it as a solo traveller but I’d confirm your room size/layout before booking if you’re a couple."
