The Caesar Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This review is by a USA traveler. We visited during late june - unfortunately during the heatwave - and having the air conditioner was a blessing. For USA travelers, note that the AC is a ceiling unit and it is a bit smaller, but after about an hour or so, the room was noticeably cooler. The linens were crisp and clean, the towels fluffy, and the beds extremely comfortable. The room overlooked a pretty street and it was a great size to accommodate a queen size bed, a hanging wardrobe, and a sizeable shower. The room was clean and the cleaners did an excellent job each day to refresh the room. We did not eat at the hotel. The only negative is lack of nearby places to eat, but it was truly lovely to be in a quieter part of London to rest up at night. You're only about a 6 or 7 minute walk from Paddington station and 7 or 8 minutes from a nearby bus stop. Kensington Gardens isn't far for an afternoon stroll as well! If we return to London, I will stay here again!"

"I was looking for a place to stay overnight while moving and it was a really great experience. However I was struggling to connect to the WiFi because I had emails to send. Additionally my room was two floors below the basement so I couldn’t get any cellular reception. That’s the only thing I’d say."
