"I was very disappointed with our stay. We came hoping to create a memorable birthday experience, but unfortunately the condition of the resort did not meet our expectations.
The room had spiders and other critters coming down from the ceiling, and it smelled as though it had not been properly cleaned. The floors were filthy, and it felt as if the cleaning equipment itself was not being maintained. When a place calls itself “Paradise,” that standard should apply not only to the beautiful outdoor surroundings but also to the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms.
The pools also appeared unclean, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the amenities. Throughout the resort, including near several restaurants, there were strong odors that suggested grease traps or cleaning areas had not been properly maintained. We had planned to order food within the resort, but the unpleasant smells discouraged us from doing so.
I believe the resort would greatly benefit from investing in additional staff and more consistent maintenance. This review is intended as constructive feedback to help improve the guest experience and bring the property up to the standard its name promises."
