"The view of the Pacific steals the show. The person at the hotel reception was incredibly friendly, polite, and courteous. The pizza restaurant is excellent. It is a difficult drive, as the road is winding and at a high elevation, but once you arrive, you can enjoy the view and the dark-sand beaches."

"The internet service was spotty during our stay (which they admitted was a problem and they were fixing it). This is the main reason I gave only 4 stars. Otherwise, I really love the place. The location on the water is great. The restaurant, when open, is also great."

"We will not be returning. The front desk is only open for a few hours in the morning and before our stay started we called multiple times and never got an answer. Once we were turning in for the night we pulled the linens back to find a dead bug smeared into the sheets as well as random small stains scattered around. Once we called the after hours number someone came and told us “welcome to the country folks” and was very condescending. The room was also insanely dusty and an allergy nightmare....

"Cute little Victorian inn right in the middle of downtown Murphy. Everything is just steps from the door. The “continental breakfast” was fresh and delicious, the room was clean, the bed was comfy and the staff was friendly and professional. We would definitely stay again."

The room space was a little small, but it felt cozy and comfortable. The hotel had a warm and relaxing atmosphere, and overall we enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a simple and cozy getaway near the slopes."

"We we not even sure we had gotten the right room. The beds were not queen size like in the reservation. 1 made a terrible amount of noise when you moved around on it. The cleanliness was questionable. The pool had very limited hours but looked clean. Overall a NO frills place."
