"I would say they need to lower the height for the slide. My son was literally right there to almost touch the red height level and they wouldn’t let him go on because his head wasn’t touching the height. As much as he loved being in the pool he tried everyday to get on the slide. Such a bummer. Other than that we enjoyed the pool, food, and drinks."

"Unique hotel experience in a good way and a major bad way. The room itself was a good size, clean and had everything you would expect. More like an apartment than a hotel. I had no issues with room itself. Other aspects of this location will prevent me from ever going. The location is average on a busy street close to the freeway. You do hear traffic for sure. "We were pretty disappointed in our room at Winners Circle. The property is in a great location with all the amenities you would expect and a free shuttle service to Del Mar which was great. We arrived around Noon and waited 3+ hours to get our room. 11am checkout and 3pm before the room was ready, that should have been the first indication of what to expect. "A much older property that takes you back to the 70's. Check in was late for me being I drove from Phoenix, AZ. I had no idea what the property looked like besides pictures. The host and son were very cordial and friendly with banter with my car mate and I. Double bed room was given, no microwave in case that matters to you. "I was searching for pet-friendly hotels in L.A. and came across Fenix Hotel. When I saw the that there's a full kitchen in some units, I quickly booked a Deluxe King unit. It was perfect for my husband and our fur baby. We were so glad that it had hardwood floors/tiles (because carpeted rooms just feels filthy to me), washer & dryer and a full kitchen to top it all. Modern, spacious, bright and airy. It was good for the price at the time. It would be really great to have a bigger pet relief area...

"This place is awesome! Great ammenities and location. Nearby resteraunts are also unreal! Perfect for a longer stay. I would also definitely come back with my entire Family. Only drawback (if you even want to call it that), is that the hotel shares the building with regular tenants. No big deal for us, but I explained to my 13 year old daughter to make sure she was respectful in the pool and common areas, as it was also people's homes."
