Hux Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at the Hux Hotel was lovely! The room was clean and well maintained. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel which was convenient, and the location of the hotel was beautiful with Kensington Gardens being close by. The only downfall was the bar. We found the drinks to be quite pricey, and the “free” round is only covered after you’ve paid for your first round. The bar also wasn’t being managed when we arrived at 5pm, although we were still seated. Once the bartenders came in, unfortunately, we were made to feel more like an inconvenience than welcomed guests. Overall, it was a great stay however a free room upgrade would have been appreciated."

Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington

Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington

8/10 Good
"I did not receive a pleasant welcome when I checked in! The receptionist started by Hello, checking in! The usual standard as far as I know is: Hello, how are you! Welcome to Copthorne Tara. Then she asked me to go to the next receptionist her colleague and I was just standing there, and her colleague was looking at her and me because he was not sure what was going on. Then she asked me to come back. It was nice of her to toss me back and forth. However it seems she was a bit under pressure but no matter what, guests should be greeted with courtesy. I work in the healthcare sector and attend to over a thousand patients and always have a smile on my face. Then on Saturday Morning, I was woken up with a loud banging noise from the 9th or 10th floor and it was pounding on my head. This noise went on for a while till I checked out. I would expect that if construction works were to be carried out then guests need to be informed ahead, but unfortunately this did not happen. I am quite frustrated and did not enjoy my stay. This is actually my 3rd or 4th visit to the hotel of which I did not have previous issues. But this last visit was not good."

St. David's Hotels

St. David's Hotels

8/10 Good
"Конечно. Вот вежливый, но достаточно серьёзный вариант отзыва на английском: I was very uncomfortable with my stay at the hotel because workers who were carrying out repairs on the roof had access to the area outside my room and could see directly into the windows. I was staying in the room at the time, and this made me feel extremely uncomfortable and exposed, as I had no privacy. I understand that roof repairs may be necessary, but the hotel should ensure that guests’ privacy and safety are protected while such work is being carried out. Guests should be informed in advance and appropriate measures should be taken to prevent workers from looking into occupied rooms. Unfortunately, this significantly affected my experience and made me feel that my privacy was not respected. I hope the hotel will take this issue seriously and make sure that it does not happen to other guests."
