"About the worst hotel experience ever - DONT STAY HERE! Staff was completely unhelpful/ not authorized to resolve issues (they pointed at a sign with a customer care number to call, but it required international dialing which we didn't have). Hotel interior was under construction with noise, mess, ladders in way that required moving, carpets covered in utility paper, etc. - none of this was disclosed prior (and should have been). No AC! (also, not disclosed!) - our lower level/basement room...

"Hotellet er et pænt hotel i gammel engelsk stil. Service var i top lige fra reception til morgenmads restauranten. Eneste lille minus var, at der var dobbeltdyne og ikke enkelt dyner, men det er kun et lille minus. Området hotellet ligger i er dejlig roligt og med fin afstand til Kensington parken samt til undergrundsstationen."

"The room was clean & spacious. The hotel location is great with tube station nearby. The only issues we had with the hotel is the shower rod is placed too far inside the shower, which makes the shower very narrow. So when showering the shower curtain sticks to you. The carpets in the hallways need cleaning."

"Expedia was a nightmare to deal with on this honeymoon trip. Our plans were disrupted by flight cancellations, which is understandable, but the Expedia Rep said we would receive a refund for the two nights that we were stranded. After we were charged the full amount, Expedia was nowhere to be found. We’ll never use them again!!"

"Tiny rooms. We were downgraded to a "cosy" room despite booking a "queen" which was ridiculously small. Management insisted the two rooms were the same (they were not). Finally moved to a queen room the 2nd night of our stay which was very small but acceptable. Both rooms had shower drains that did not drain with water overflowing into the bathroom. In both rooms you can hear the people in the rooms next door and hear people in their rooms from the hallway. Location is good. Beds are comfy. Stay...

"Incredibly spacious and comfortable room but the bathroom was really a standout - massive bath, beautiful shower and decor! Also, the staff were very welcoming and helpful - couldn’t recommend more highly."

"A lovely hotel with some quirky and fun features. The hotel is very clean and nicely furnished. Ideal if you are visiting Royal Albert Hall or The Natural History/Science museum plus only a five minute walk to South Kensington Tube station. Room had a large TV and air conditioning plus tea and coffee making facilities, with bottles of Harrogate Spring water, biscuits and chocolates which was a nice touch. We would definitely choose to stay here again."
