"I had no idea what I was getting into. This is a super cool hotel if you want a true Japanese Onsen experience. You start with taking your shoes off and doning either pajamas they provide or your pick of Kimonos ( not sure if what men wear are Kimonos but nonetheless) which they also have for you. "Extraordinary service and hospitality! Facilities, wine tasting lounge and drum show were unique and enjoyable. Plenty of space for all guests except during drumming show Sunday evenings - Our only frustration was the poor internet service - we had a bit of medical work to handle and could not connect to and maintain connection with internet in our rooms. Our onsen and room was fabulous. "

"Man this place was cool, staff was awesome too, great view definitely a little hike up a hill but it’s not far from the station and the surrounding area is so beautiful it didn’t even matter, super close to that waterfall walkway thing which is awesome, it’s just a great area loved it, and the bathtub was awesome, I definitely wore my kimono wrong but the staff was so nice reguardless made me feel very nice. and the japanese experience is REAL here aswell"

The traditional royokan rooms were an immersion in the traditional Japanese experience. However the absolute highlights were the authentic Japanese meals served by the most friendly and helpful staff. This stay could be the highlight of your trip."

"大きいホテルだけあってチェックインは呼出し札で順番でしたが待ち時間中はウェルカムドリンクとお菓子が置いてあり、ありがたかったです。部屋はとても清潔で心地よく快適に過ごせました。屋上のお風呂は狭めでしたが開放的で、1階のお風呂はとても大きく温度も丁度いい湯加減でした。 食事も焼きたてのステーキや揚げたての天麩羅などあり大満足でした。 ありがとうございました。"
