"Everything was perfect, no complaints. "
Everything was perfect, no complaints. Things can get expensive as compared to other restaurants or services nearby, but you can trust the staff here 100%, so "you get what you pay for ". We will definitely stay here again in the future.

"Great hotel in Karon!"
This was a great hotel on a private beach in Karon. Not too close to the hustle of Patong yet close enough 5-8 mins by tuk-tuk if u want to party. Centara is awesome! Great food, staff, clean, pool was awesome, amenities were great, I will definitely be staying here again.

"Tropical paradise."
During our 7 days stay, nearly we don't need to leave our lovely villa except getting breakfast. Our Villa, West 32/4 is one of the best for privacy. The others are poor for privacy and silence. Hotel facilities are so poor for a 5 star holiday but villa comfort was excellent such as 3 times a day housekeeping and you can find everything such as fresh water, coffee, tea, beers and fruit basket at mini bar and kitchenette everyday. Housekeepers provide clean towels 2 times a day. Private pool and open air bathroom are lovely. Perfect place to get rest especially for couples and honeymooners. Finding a breakfast package prepared for us while trying to reach for a very early flight to hometown after an instant check out process was the peak of our amusement of that lovely holiday settlement. Once again we would like to thank to the Reservation Assistant Manager Ms. Prae. Tip for future customers... bring huge amount of mosquito repellent sprays with you to protect yourself against huge mosquito armies. Good luck.

"Hotel with good facilities and close to beach."
Hotel has very good facilities, 3 pools, play area, tennis courts and fitness centre. 6 minute walk to very clean beach. Shops and restaurants next to hotel. Only down side we were on 6th floor with sea view and music could be heard from various bars nearby until 3 am.

"Very child friendly "
We loved our stay here. Very child friendly, beautiful location, very new and clean resort. They have a stunning beach club and run daily boat services by longtail boat. The only cons were slow service at the pool, only one or two boats per day to the beach club and the remote location - restaurants are at least a 15 minutes drive away.

"best hotel ever 👌🏼"
we loved our stay at the amatara and would definitely come back with family and friends although it was the perfect couples get away. I would describe the amatara as romanctic, picturesque, quiet (bar some noisy Germans) and relaxing.

"Nice Hotel in a Great Location"
Nice hotel, great location. Right next to the major shopping centre which is handy. Buffet breakfast is great but gets busy after 9am. Hotel has a taxi service which is nice and easy and the guys are great. Airport transfer really worth it too.

    About Phuket

Beaches and partying may be Phuket's most popular pastimes, but Thailand's largest island also offers much more beyond the busy resorts on its west coast. Those who find Patong and Karon a bit too crowded may prefer more up-market Mai Khao or the tranquillity of Sirinat National Park. Even more secluded beaches await visitors to Phuket's southeast coast. Shrimp farms, mangrove forests, and plantations of rubber and pineapple are the dominant landscapes of Phuket's largely unexplored interior.

    Don’t Miss

The island of Phuket is divided into three main sections. The west coast contains the bustling beach resorts of Paton and Karon in addition to several smaller and quieter beaches. The largest community on Phuket's quieter southeast coast, Chalong Bay, is also the main gateway to the smaller Phi Phi islands and Coral islands.

Those who venture into inland Phuket may wish to visit Phra Taew National Park, the Gibbon Project, and the sea gypsy colony on the island of Ko Sire.

Another part of the island which tourists frequently overlook is its capital, Phuket Town. The Chinatown area and Old Phuket's well-preserved 19th century Mediterranean mansions and shops are especially worth exploring. Much of southern Phuket and its surrounding islands can be seen from Khao Rang Hill's summit on Phuket Town's northwest border.

    Restaurants and Bars

Fresh seafood is the best thing to eat when in Phuket. Popular Thai food favourites are also very easily found in restaurants across Phuket island. Try Tom Yam Goong for a bit of spice, Pad Thai for a light classic Thai dish, Som Tam papaya salad for a healthier bite, or Green Curry Chicken for a filling meal. You should also try street food in Phuket. Banana pancakes, Chinese dumplings, satay, meatballs, sticky rice and shredded coconuts are just some of the amazing street food available in Phuket. Food in Phuket Town restaurants tend to be cheaper than food found in coastal restaurants.

Patong remains Phuket's largest and liveliest beach resort, but places to party and drink can be found nearly everywhere on the island.

    Shopping in Bangkok

Most of the island's shopping opportunities are situated in Phuket Town. In addition to some modern shopping centres and department stores, Phuket Town also features several outdoor markets. Ranong may be the largest Phuket Town market, but shoppers can also browse the goods and food sold at the Wirat Hong Yok Road Weekend Market, the Sunday Thalang Market, and the Lad Ploy Khong Market. Chinatown is a good place to shop for traditional antiques and handicrafts. Patong Beach's main shopping options are Beach Road and its surrounding streets as well as a lively night market.
