The room was very noisy with street noise and noise from rooms on either side of us. The room furniture was quite worn. The shuttle bus stopped at 1640 while we arrived later due to train issues. We had no means of communicating our late arrival, Expedia messages did not get delivered so we almost missed our dinner and were rushed through by Ten-Yu. Very difficult to find the hotel from Gora station in the dark and rain. Need signage at depot for after hours transportation. Lots of tourists diffusing the anticipated zen the hotel has potential for. We did enjoy the onsens, especially rotating venues every other day to enjoy the beautiful areas. Staff was very helpful during our stay.

My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon and were extremely impressed with the hotel. Our room was extremely spacious and having our own bath thay can be drawn with hot spring water was a huge plus. Unfortunately, you cannot enter the public onsen if you have tattoos, but we were still avle to make the best of it. Highly recommend getting the dinner and breakfast options!

It’s one of the best hotels I have stayed in Japan. Beautiful property, friendly staff, private and public onsen, soaking area for feet, complimentary wine/coffee/tea/icecream in lobby, water park for kids, kids play area on 3rd floor. We all just loved this place. We took advantage of walking in the garden, cocktail lounge Can’t get any better than this. They also have a shuttle to Gora station. Wish we had stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the spa also.
