"The room on arrival didn’t have the aircon on and so was 28C - I messaged reception and was told it would cool down in a few hours. Worse though was that it had the stench of sewage and a strange and overpowering cherry smell as well but it has been a long day at work so the idea of going back down late at night wasn’t appealing. "Cleaning staff appear to be a bit hit and miss these days - soap bottle left at sink open and empty as if it was going to be refilled but was forgotten about. No loo roll in the communal loo. Rooms are very hot in summer without aircon."

"A modern International standard hotel within a stones through of Tower Hill. All well kept, good restaurant and friendly staff. Even got a free dinner with the dice game that was a new one on me. Air conditioning perfect in the hot weather and price in line with the standard provided. Worth a visit and stay"

"Loved my stay! Very easy check in on the tablets. Room was cool with the lights. Everything was done on an iPad which was pretty cool. My tv worked but kept glitching so bit annoying. Bed was comfy. Only thing is the blinds being functioned from the iPad mine kept catching and wouldn’t go down after a certain point. Pretty annoying. I did try myself but didn’t want to break anything. It would catch every single time and go slanted. Great stay and location. Would def stay again"
