"Excellent experience in rural Nakuru. This hotel has a retreat feel from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. Wonderful and respectful staff. Excellent dinning options with good variety of local cuisine and fresh fruits + vegetables. Entire meal has a farm to table feel to it. Clean rooms though the shower hotel hot water regulation can be a bit finicky. Fantastic experience all round."

In passing conversation, my husband mentioned that the Lake Naivasha Country club was where he proposed to me 25 years ago. "The property is in a serene area. We stayed at the Flamingo suite that is an amazing tent. With living room, huge balcony overlooking the flamingoes on the lake. The staff is exceptional. The food delicious and well served. A very relaxing experience indeed. "
