"Unimpressed. Booked this hotel specifically for ac. Got room 336 with broken ac. Was told by first receptionist “well, it is hot out, but I’ll inform maintenance”. Second receptionist said she would call maintenance. Never got fixed. After two nights of our four night stay (and multiple visits to the front desk) we finally got a nice competent staff member who cared enough to fix our situation and switched us to a room with functioning ac. Unfortunately the ac wasn’t our only issue. The towels...

"Lovely hotel in a great location for central London. Holborn tube station is a few minutes walk away. Covent Garden is about a 10 minute walk. The hotel is decorated with a few more arty kind of aspects which is a nice change from the usual type of standard hotel. Our room was well cleaned and the inclusion of a little Smeg fridge was good for us to keep things cool in the warm weather. The pool is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. "Vibrant hotel in London, close to an excellent area and many little pubs and cafes. Cross the millennium bridge only a few minutes away and you’re at the Tate museum and on the southbank wall towards the London eye. I’ve absolutely loved it. My room was fantastic and a very good size. Just add smoked salmon at breakfast please! I’ll definitely come back."
