We really felt we were getting a more intimate Japanese experience. The food really put us Americans out of our comfort zone, but we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. "Beautiful design in lobby and rooms. Appreciated the free coffee and apples in the lobby! Everything was clean and the staff is very friendly! The laundry was small, slow, and expensive, with a queue of other travelers, so just went down the street to 39 Laundry which had much larger and more efficient machines, just fyi. "
