"Excellent hotel, with large, well-appointed rooms in an area that is convenient for accessing things in Kyoto. The hotel staff members were excellent, so friendly and helpful. I forgot to make a dinner reservation for my first night in Kyoto, and the two ladies working the front desk called five places for me, and the one I visited was recommended by the hotel staff member and was incredible! The hotel also has a nice lounge. Great stay!"

"Small 12 room hotel located in a nice quiet area but still close and walkable to many of the touristy areas. Beautiful room and the shower/bath was truly a spa like experience. Bed was very nice as well. Get the Japanese breakfast served in your room at least once. It was a memorable meal. "

Rooms in Japan are notoriously pretty small, but Kabin had enough room for a small dining table and bath made this place feel like home. Bonus points for the easy laundry room, luggage storage and fantastic coffee shop in the lobby. "

"I absolutely LOVED the Ace Hotel in Kyoto. There is a subway station accessible right from the lobby which was SO convenient, and several bus stations within a block or two of the hotel. It was also walkable to many other staple sights like Nishiki market and Teramachi Street. The room and hotel amenities were fantastic. I loved the overall look and vibe of the space. "
