"Clean and spacious room. Easy walk to Kyoto"

"The Thousand is a very modern hotel, located 5 minutes from the train station (big advantage). The rooms were big, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was rich and covered both Western and Eastern tastes. Overall, highly recommend this hotel"

"Big space, wash machine in the room. Nice bathroom"

"We arrived to Kyoto early, didn't expect the hotel to let us check-in but they did because the room was ready. The process was pleasant and smooth. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The area was quiet, yet very convenient access to the Keihan line and the buses, about 17 mins walk to Kyoto station and TeamLab. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Kyoto."

"The property was very quant. The rooms impeccable and spacious. Love the Toto toilets the staff has helpful, friendly and knowledgeable"

"The staff was over the top kind and thoughtful. The hotel is elegant and luxurious. The cute ladies who came and did our bedtime Japanese massage were precious and I can still remember their laughter at my husband sleeping through his. One huge positive is you never have to drag your luggage out of the terminal. You walk right into the hotel entrance after debairding your shinkansen. We would recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"didn't take breakfast here since theres no halal menu "

"The hotel is comfortable and pleasant. It is a 7 minute walk from the Kyoto station. When we arrived, the reception clerk was adamant that the 3-bed room we had booked was too small for 3 people and that we should absolutely pay for an upgrade to a slightly bigger room. Indeed, the room wasn't super spacious but it was OK. It was very strange however to arrive at a hotel and to be told that they sold us a room that couldn't accomodate as many people as advertised. The receptionnist was a bit too...

"Wonderful, clean, very close to the train station so super convenient. The Onsen was amazing and clean."

"Onsen was great. I was really missing a cold bath after leaving this place. Great location, very close to the main station hub. Staff was great. They gave us free ice cream"

"Wonderfully appointed hotel with very comfortable, good sized rooms. Lounge & bar area are welcoming & tasteful. Location is excellent, being only minutes away from Kyoto station. Lots of food options within the vicinity as well. Staff are helpful & friendly."

"Relatively cheap hotel that is near to Kyoto Station. "

"Almont is an easy walk from Kyoto Station, yet a world away--quiet, sleek, with staff who are attentive to every detail. I have been staying here every number of months for a number of years now, and this property is still my favorite. Thank you."

"The hotel experience was a very good one. The room was spacious and the the staff were friendly and professional. The location was very good, with easy access to the Kyoto station and tonnes of restaurants."
