B&B in Medway

"Good location, nice lobby and bar area. The other areas were very tired. We stayed in 118. The shower had very weak pressure, the bath enamel was peeling and floating in the bath. The basin was rusty. There was no sanitary bags or bin. We knew there were no toiletries as such. But the dispensers were muddled. Ie hand cream was shampoo. Very very poor lighting in the room and the paint work and carpet was very tired. Very nice breakfast both mornings but there was a very odd vibe on Saturday night as if the staff were on edge some people left as the waitress too long but our food was nice. Nice pool area and clean changing rooms that were well equipped. It wasn't nice to see rows of wine bottles and glasses etc outside rooms for literally hours. The WIFI Was also really poor throughout."

"Staff very friendly at reception Classic traditional ‘cruise ship’ style as expected Impeccably clean Bathroom very dated, infitting with a ship, shower only and extremely heavy door dangerous when having children in the room with you. Couldnt prop bathroom door open and no working fan in the bathroom for stream. Reason for low score was complete lack of sleep due to room being uncomfortably warm the entire time. Staff attempted to assist by providing two fans however as window doesnt open this just circulated the warm air around. When speaking to reception they advised they had another room to move us to however said they knocked on our door at 11am to offer us it and as we didnt answer they gave it to someone else! Hard to believe anyone goes to London to stay in their room until 11am and wait to be offered another room plus they has our emails and phone numbers to try to contact us also but didnt attempt to. Breakfast was fine but really poor set up, long queues at hot drinks station and hot food just due to poor layout noone could access until person at front has completely moved out of the way. This could be fixed easily by the staff walking through the setup as guests do. Overall we were offered an upgrade on a return stay however lack of sleep ruined our weekend and due to that unfortunately we wouldnt return"

"I stayed here for nine nights. Hotel is conveniently located near the DLR train. The room was super clean. Housekeeping did an amazing job everyday. Staff was this hotel was very hospitable and welcoming. The restaurant has nice menu options. Ate dinner there a few times. Breakfast is buffet options. Hot and cold foods. No complaints about breakfast. I don’t drink alcohol but they have a nice bar. I would recommend this place to stay. The area is not busy. It’s secluded and quiet. "

"Breakfast is Cooke to order however if you have a dog they are not allowed in the restaurant and you are sent to a windowless room near the bar. Food on Friday night well it’s from a freezer burgers were like rubber and the oven chips yes oven chips were tasteless, The fish was horrendous frozen fish the fish inside the batter was a grey mush. No excuses if you have a chef or tell guests it’s from the freezer and tasteless. This is budget hotel the emphasis is on budget. Like going back into the 70s. Rooms small, smells of weed in corridors lots of people in flip flops collecting food from umber deliveries and similar. The plus side next to the RE museum, the park and finally the staff they were so friendly and tried to help. But that does not make up for the worn out rooms and public areas. Look likes it waiting to be demolished and houses built on the site. Anyone would think the owners could be property developers awaiting the green light. Not returning."

"The room was cosy and the staff made two swans and put petals around the bed. So kind and it was lovely the spa. I have used the gym and spa many times as a member until I moved. First time staying though and loved it we did."
