"Such a mixed bag of a review. The positives- great location/ doorman very good/breakfast good/Equus Bar excellent and the staff too/ rooms are pretty good. HOWEVER!! Check in was a disgrace! We had 2 rooms for 4 nights and got the first room ok. Had to come back at 3pm onwards for 2nd room but that was ok with us. What happened next was like Fawlty Towers. Given the keys to 2nd room and walked in on a couple in bed!! Not sleeping!! Obviosly embarrassing and receptions respose was-'Mistakes...

"Love the location and staff at this hotel. I stay here every time I am in London. However, the last time I was here, I was not told that there is no desk or table in the room (premium Queen, which is what I always book - I always had a table and chair before), so it was difficult for me to get any work done on my computer. Other than that, I would recommend it."

"This by far was the cherry on top! The room was gorgeous, overlooking the Royal Mews. An anniversary dessert was waiting in our room. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the doorman to the server in the dining room everyone made service their goal! The only negative thing I could say is that hallway noise could be heard in the room. Even so, I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting London."

"the hotel doesn't have stair case, but the front desk staff, she is kind enough to help with our luggage to the 6th floor
although the room is small, but it is so comfy with basic amneties. the shower room/toilet is super clean, and the water pressure is good

"Glad for luggage check in option. Sheet had stain on it and needed to be replaced. Hard time getting prompt resolve on this. It is probably a UK thing, since none of the other hotels we stayed at had washcloths either, just an FYI. Breakfast was good, tons of options. Overall decent place to stay. Close to restaurants, the Tower bridge, and the Tower of London castle all in very short walking distance. "

"The rooms were very large for Europe and had all the necessary amenities including a Nespresso machine. The only complaint we had was the card system and door locks. We struggled (as did all guests) to get in and out of the hall to the exit. Also the room keys all stopped working the second day for the whole building. Some upgrades are needed in those areas. Otherwise the location was fantastic. "

"Absolutely amazing experience. Clean and everything you need. Staff makes you feel safe. Was out late and there was a sketchy guy following me and yelling things at me. I made it to the hotel and let the staff know, they all stepped in without hesitation. Would highly recommend. Will be staying here if I ever come back to London."

"Can't get any closer to Kings Cross station! Staff was super friendly, rooms clean and well appointed. A pantry in the hall for coffee, tea, snacks, and one in the room as well. Included breakfast was great! Great experience. Will go back"

"More travel lodge than Pullman.
Carpets are dirty, window s haven’t been cleaned in years seeing and the quality of the rooms generally are atrocious.
I paid £300 to stay here and would honestly say it’s the worst quality of room I’ve seen at this price point or even lower.
There are much better options.
Positives: location and the lobby area.
