"the hotel doesn't have stair case, but the front desk staff, she is kind enough to help with our luggage to the 6th floor
although the room is small, but it is so comfy with basic amneties. the shower room/toilet is super clean, and the water pressure is good

"The staff was really nice and I love the fact that the entrance needed the card especially late at night for safety reasons. I loved the vibe of the place and it felt like I was in space. I do love the disco setting in the nest but I don’t recommend turning it on when you’re drunk lol. Overall so close especially if you’re going to and from LGW or LHR, I found myself wandering around and hitting major landmarks within a 15 min walk so it’s just overall great"

"This is by far one of my favorite micro hotels. You must know going in these are small room rooms so for a solo traveler they’re perfect. I prefer a room with a window. Location is just a block from the tube station. Great restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Staff is exceptional."

"Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We arrived earlier than check-in, and they offered to store our luggage so we could explore the area. They were still able to get us into our room 2 hours earlier.

"Terrific location - just a block from Paddington Station. You can get to the room from the plane in one hour. No hassle. Room is smaller compared to the US but it is London and not Lubbock. The bathroom is also tiny. A/C worked great. No street noise. Terrific continental breakfast. Top class service. Super helpful & friendly front desk. Fast wifi. Has a mini fridge and a safe. No USB or power outlet next to the bed. Good overall value."

"Let’s start with the good things. The location of the property is amazing, it’s a very safe neighborhood and close to the underground station making it easy to go anywhere. Breakfast is included but there’s not a lot of options and you have 2 hours to have it, so if you are planning to wake up late this place is definitely not for you. But the staff from breakfast is very helpful and friendly, I would say they are the highlight of the property.

"The property is very nicely located, steps from Charing Cross station. Which is a quick to ride to any of the Gatwick trains. My biggest issue was when I arrived. There was absolutely no air-conditioning in the room. The Front Desk was very disinterested in helping. They showed up with a fan that had clearly been left in the hallway from the previous occupants of the room who had the same complaint. "The Rubens is a fantastic hotel. We only stayed one night, but will definitely stay there upon return to London. The location cannot be beat, only a block or two from Buckingham Palace. The staff absolutely could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They really were fantastic!!
The room was comfortable. We had a view of the Royal Mews. Breakfast was amazing. I really cannot say enough nice things about the hotel. Highly recommend!"

"The staff was always very helpful both the day and night staff - George and Elijah I believe. My room was clean and I appreciated the amenities. I thought the breakfast was excellent - ordered an English breakfast. The location was close to the Marble Arch to sight see a few places; and close to the train station and bus station.
