"We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Sydney and would happily return. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent, with a great shower and everything well maintained. The only small improvement I would suggest would be a firmer mattress, as I have a bad back and personally sleep better on a firmer bed. That said, it was still a comfortable night's sleep. "On arrival staff met us at the entrance and assisted my wife with her bag then showed us to reception to check in Reception staff were excellent and checking in was a breeze The hotel was quite central in the city which made getting around easy Room was very good It was clean and well presented Highly recommend the paradox to any traveller"

"My first back packers place. Loved the whole vibe of the place, so relaxed, casual and inclusive (family and all ages). Loved the rooftop view and hanging out there with our pajamas, etc. The community pantry was also great although I did not use it as I played ahead for breakfast. I only took one star out because the breakfast did not have protein options like eggs, or bacon or sausages."
