"Pretty nice hotel with lovely, clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Coffee shops and supermarkets are like 5 min walk away. 10 minutes drive to Batu Caves."
"Bathroom was dirty (the grout & corners need to be cleaned). Including the windows. Can hear the cars passing & people talking outside. Market area was dirty/smelly. Bed was ok. "
"This property was beautiful. It is located in an area that may seem isolated, at first, but a ten minute walk up the hill will give you a place where you can shop and eat. The property itself has great amenities like a pool, jacuzzi, and playground. Itโs is certainly family friendly. The host was very communicative. "

"Highly recommend a stay at the Mandarin Oriental. The hotel and facilities were excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help.
Next door to the shopping centres and dining options. "
"Walkway to rooms look dated. Waiting time for the lift also very long, especially during check out time. Other than that, room is clean, spacious and comfy. Rooftop pool very breezy with nice view. Breakfast selection is good too! "
"It wasn't a pleasant experience. The discription of the room through the App., through the picture, through Hotels.Com booking statement of the reservation: "a single room with a twinbed". The hotel gave me a room with a single bed and no window.. and it didn't end there, the bathroom sink leaks the used water from its basen, a big cacorotch flue from AC towards me as I opened it, and the walls are too thin you can hear everything in the adjacent rooms. So, they -Smile Hotel- charged me extra to move me to a room matching the description of what I've reserved and the statement in the booking of Hotels.com "
"I enjoyed my 2 night stay here very much. The design of the room is great & unique. The furniture is all modern & feels luxurious.
Even though itโs just one room with a large bed, I felt that it was very spacious, not at all cramped as Iโve felt in other hotels. The view was very nice on the 11th floor.
The only 2 comments I can make are as follows:
1- The location is very lively at night. Itโs next to both an open-area restaurant that seems to be very popular, that plays music at night till midnight, & also close to some auto mechanic garages that work on cars & bikes. The hotel has recognized this so theyโve provided light sleepers with complimentary ear-plugs. I had no issue getting to sleep without them, but keep this in mind if youโre a very light sleeper.
2- The glass-slide-door bathroom is a unique feature of the room. Staying alone I had no issues at all, & had all the privacy I needed. But I think it may not be the most private if youโre with someone else; the slide doors have some gaps here & there that donโt quite seal out sounds & such, but youโll have 100% visual privacy. Just something to keep in mind if youโre not staying alone.
In all, I very much enjoyed my experience here, & felt it was the best place out of the 4 I stayed in in Kuala Lumpur. I would highly recommend it, & I would surely enjoy staying here again."

"This hotel was such a a great start to our Malaysia trip. The photos don't really do it justice in my view. Our room (Glam VI) was beautiful and so spacious and comfortable. Particularly liked the separate seating area to relax in. As for the reception/bar/restaurant area - this was stunning. Absolutely loved the intricate baroque styling and we really enjoyed sitting at the bar sampling unusual cocktails. We didn't eat in the restaurant of an evening but had the bar tapas and two lovely, filling breakfasts. Location wise the hotel was good for us too - we only had one full day in KL so used Grab to quickly get around to Batu Caves, KLCC and the Petronas Towers. Most definitely recommend this hotel for quality and value!"
