"Location"

"What a weird a** place this is. This hotel does a great job straddling the line of being friendly and unhelpful. They act like they are nice but really they just want to be mean. The hotel itself is well appointed but the presentation is a bit pretentious. It's trying to be fancy but really it's just weird. It is not family friendly. We tried to have a coffee one day in the cafe but there was no server. Then we ran into some trouble with kids pool time as the TV stated the window was 9-noon...

"Hotel was new and the lobby, restaurant and breakfast was nice. Rooms were small and only one chair fit in the room which makes no sense for a party of 2. Bed was also small."

"We arrived at 3pm, the correct time for check in. We have NEVER seen such a huge queue for check in and such a disorganised system! People were checking in, no rooms available, people being asked to wait whilst rooms were being finished…. It was complete chaos in the reception area. Surely a hotel knows exactly how many rooms are booked, they should arrange for extra staff to be on if they have special offers on/special occasions etc to avoid this chaos. It took approximately 30-45 minutes to...

"Very nice hotel, food very good but service at restaurants terrible. Impossible to get a coffee in less than 15 minutes and drinks at bar slow as well. Darren at the front desk was the exception- he was great."

"Locke is a new hotel, located at the end of South Colonnade, Canary Wharf. Modern with open plan style incorporating cafe, bar and open seated areas. Staff were great; young and enthusiastic (Sophie and Conor were a delight). The only issue I had was checking in after 10:00pm took a little longer as reception didn't seem to be staffed. Rooms are great, well appointed and overall, I'll definitely be back."

"Great hotel but if you plan on working while you’re there, don’t. The internet was absolutely terrible. Fine for an email or two but for any video or even non-video conferencing be prepared to cut out every minute or two. Incredibly frustrating. Otherwise a beautiful hotel with stunning city and Thames views with really great staff."

"tiny rooms for the price. Which is fine but their staff was terrible. I requested them multiple times during my 3 day stay to clean my room. They did not do it once!!! They offered me to replace my towels and then no one turned up! This was after I complained about their service. I am never coming back to their property and will recommend the same to my colleagues, team members, and friends."
