"Great modern boutique hotel with beautiful design and features. Clean, smells brand new still and centrally located. Front desk staff was very friendly and staffed 24 hours. Bed was comfortable, blackout blinds effective, kitchen as described, and towels large and clean. My only complaint is that the so-called fitness centre is not really that at all. It is a tiny room with a treadmill and a couple light dumbbells. They would be better off affiliating themselves with a local gym and give us...

"Rooms do not have AC instead you are given a fan , which isn't sufficient when it's 31 degrees outside. Water pressure was low in our room so we could not shower until after 2pm despite reporting the issue at 10am. The room we were given was on the ground floor and did not have an outdoor area therefore we were unable to use this to dry our clothes outside in the warm weather. "The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome here. The room is super clean and modernly decorated. There are two lifts (one is larger than the other) and a large area where breakfast is served from 6:30am-10:00am. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come again!"

"The apartment is loud because it sits in the middle of the city, making the location very good for restaurants, the tube, and attractions. The AC was not working, making it feel stuffy. The bathroom sink was very slow draining and the bathroom floor was cracked and had mold in places. The kitchen and coffee were nice. Bedding was good, but without a flat sheet a bit worrisome that the comforter may not be washed between all guests?? Very nice and accommodating staff and great option to store...

"The oven refuses to turn on. Despite looking up instructions online and sending messages to the landlord, no replies. The dryer does not work. I washed clothes on my last night and was forced to fly home with a suitcase full of wet clothes."

"Great location with everything you needed. We stayed in the studio room which was plenty of room and clean. Only issue was the air con unit was difficult to turn off from the panel and soon realised there was a light switch by the bathroom (weird wiring) that turned it all off as the room was very cold to start with. Apart from this, it was perfect for a night’s stay. "

"They did provide 2 rolls of toilet paper but for a family of 5 that was not enough for 8 days and you had to purchase your own. The washer/dryer took over 5 hours to wash and dry clothes and typically they weren’t even dry when done. The customer service provided through Vrbo / Expedia was exceptional as the accommodation, at Marlin, was identified and booked less than 24 hours before my planned arrival date/time. "Thr location of this hotel is fantastic. Steps from major attractions and the Underground. The extra space and a kitchen was very nice. We experienced a similar issue as others. No sheets or covers for the pullout bed. We spent almost an hour chatting with the host to find some only to be allowed to grab some from another room. We also had some issues with cleanliness. The drain in the shower was pulled out and full of hair. The dish rack was dirty, etc. Just made you question the...
