"Great location which absolutely suited our needs for 3 nights in the local area.
Rooms were small & lacked storage but the bed was very comfy, the air con was lovely and cool, and there was no noise.
Staff were welcoming & acommodating regarding an early check in (no charge)."

"We stayed for a concert at the O2 rather than paying the stupid prices for the Excel situated properties (most of which need a lot of TLC) and we couldn't have been happier. Transport didn't take much longer than the Jubilee/DLR combo we usually use and the hotel was significantly nicer. Great staff, breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend"

"On the edge of Stratford. Friendly welcome.Smart decor and mini- room was well equipped and ideal for an overnight.
Sadly, there was no hot water. Advised reception on way out at 5pm. Offered alternative room but not accepted as we had late return. Maintenance staff had left.
Problem remained upto leaving at 9am. Apology repeated but I had to initiate possibility of part refund - we paid £254 (concert night). Further apologies by message but offered only £38 (£19 ea)for loss of essential...

"Wouldn’t have previously considered staying at a concept like this, but booked as hotel prices were very expensive for my travel dates. I was pleasantly surprised. You do have to use the QR code on your phone to move about the building too often in my opinion but that said, it’s very secure. The location is unbeatable for the price and I would absolutely stay again."

"The staff as always are the best. The room was not so great. We had the noise from the train ( I think ) throughout the day stopping only late at night for a few hours. We have stayed at the hotel on many previous occasions and in all fairness the rooms we have previously been given have all been outstanding. So we were a bit disappointed this time."

"Brilliant staff and services. It was my first time staying here. Will definitely be visiting again. Very accommodating. I would like to thank the receptionists Esse and Hafsa for the a nice and easy check in and check out service with smiles on their faces. "This was my first time staying at The Strand Palace and I loved it! The hotel is beautiful, clean and in a great location.
Our room was excellent, the bed was comfy, the coffee machine was a nice touch and I love Rituals toiletries.
The shutters on the windows are perfect to block out noise and light.
Breakfast was delicious. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and courteous.

"Great hotel but if you plan on working while you’re there, don’t. The internet was absolutely terrible. Fine for an email or two but for any video or even non-video conferencing be prepared to cut out every minute or two. Incredibly frustrating. Otherwise a beautiful hotel with stunning city and Thames views with really great staff."

"Amazing location near the tube and central to west London.
Hotel was comfortable- AC is central and not controlled by the rooms so keep that in mind if you’re going on a hot week.
One major issue is that they are understaffed. Essentially no one picks up the phone if you call the front desk to ask any questions. It can be very frustrating if you need help.
I gave up on asking them to fix my safe as it was not working.
Overall comfortable and good location but keep your expectations low as...
