"Arrived to a deserted reception desk. After a brief walk around the overgrown gardens it was evident that there was no-one about. Finally found a groundskeeper who was surprised we had a booking. Apparently restaurant and pool bar have not been operational since covid. We high-tailed out of there quick smart. Thankfully we found great accommodation with vacancy near by. I can't believe they still advertise on the various hotel booking platforms. "

"An absolutely incredible hotel nestled just off the beach, the Silk Sense resort is an ideal luxury resort just north of Hoi An. Featuring immaculate service where nothing is too much trouble, staff will make you feel incredibly welcomed and provide whatever is needed. "Simply an amazing gem of a place that is hard to summarise in words or photos. We had a fantastic stay at this amazingly floral location by the river… it really does live up to its name! The garden of orchids surrounds the private and secluded pool area. From the top floor, 2-room mini apartment we had 360 views (and a river view to boot), 2 (!) bathrooms that feel semi indoor/outdoor and fabulous air-con. Breakfast was leisurely and with a great selection of fruits, juices, coffee, eggs…...
