Also, one thing I really love is the private onsen is a good size in your room. It allows for you and your significant other to relax together. "Ce séjour a été une expérience hors du commun. Nous avons été accueilli avec soin. Le fait de manger à genoux sur une table basse, de dormir sur des futons et de se détendre dans les onsens ont été des moments inoubliables. Les repas étaient de grande qualité et préparés avec soin mais malheureusement nous n’avons pas pu les apprécier à leur juste valeur car trop éloignés de nos goûts français 😄"

"Gora Kadan is a unique experience, from the moment we were greeted at reception to the moment of our departure. Our room was beautiful and peaceful. The hotel went out of their way to accommodate our annoying dietary restrictions (one pescatarian and one who doesn’t eat shellfish) - the food was fantastic. We had a shiatsu massage which was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. We were sorry to leave. Hope we’ll be back "

"They gave a quick tour of facilities upon check-in, even an escort to the room. Carried baggage from driveway and deposited to our room. I was the only one in the public bath at 5pm. The meals were amazing. While unable to accommodate gluten free diet with traditional cooking, they were very kind in informing which dishes had gluten. 5/5 you should stay here"

"The Taeikan was in a perfect location for getting to the train station and to visit the shops in the area. The food was exceptional!!!!The ambiance was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed the onsen. "I booked 2 rooms—one for myself and one for my subordinate. During dinner, we were given a small table to share. I wanted to have some quiet time alone after work, so I moved to an empty table nearby. A Japanese waiter (wearing a vest) came over and spoke very rudely, insisting that I must sit with my subordinate just because we knew each other. He even asked me to carry all my food back. The restaurant had many empty tables, and it was not busy at all during 8pm to 930pm. I felt very embarrassed. I did nothing wrong but was treated badly. This is not how guests should be treated."
