Great size room, super comfy Mattress, delicious breakfast with the best omelette ever made by a fantastic chef! The onsen , public bath, sauna facilities with a fantastic view of Fuji Mount. The view of Fuji from the Hotel Mt Fuji made our ten day trip to Japan very special.

What makes up for the outdated and a little rundown room is the excellent bell service we received, including the reliable shuttle service. The dinner was a delightful experience.
Breathtaking views of Mount Fuji right from the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the two onsens were a great experience. Free parking made everything very convenient. Overall a wonderful stay.
The rooms are nice. The view from the hotel of mt.fuji is insane. The breakfast was good also. The spa/onsen is soooo good. The downsides are it's kind of isolated and the food options there are very expensive.
Our favorite stay on our Japan trip. Staff was helpful and the space was clean. Both Onsens were wonderful and very relaxing.

Room is spacious and clean. Onsen facilities are good and clean. Just need to book the Japanese dinner buffet in advance. Otherwise you have to take fine dining for dinner only.
Great location to experience mt Fuji in a relaxed atmosphere.
We stayed in the Japanese style family room which was very spacious with beautiful lake views.
Both outdoor hot springs were really lovely, one with a view to Mount Fuji.
Breakfast was excellent with breathtaking view of mt Fuji. The staff were very helpful.
Some parts of the common areas in the hotel definitely need refreshing. But overall highly recommended.
Good view of Mt Fuji, the Onsen was lovely too. Staff was a bit challenging to communicate and seemed a bit disorganized. Took way too long to arrange luggage transfer to my next destination AND it ended up arriving two days later. The grounds were nice to walk but not much to do around the area.

ROOM IS CLEAN. VIEW IS PERFECT. STAFFS ARE VERY SUPPORTIVE AND HELPFUL.
Exceptional hotel with stunning views of the lake and Mount Fuji. Perched alone on top of the hill it had a slight Shining feel to it. It has retained its chic 1960s decor.
The food is highly priced, but it was a simple shuttle ride down to the town and we had the pleasure of dining at Shoya restaurant which was also a highlight of our trip.

We stayed at Hotel My.Fuji for one night and had a pleasant overall experience, but it comes with a few important caveats.
What worked well:
The value for the price is strong, especially given the incredible views of Mt. Fuji. Waking up to that alone made the stay feel special. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast is on the pricier side, but the selection is generous and worth it if you plan to stay on-site. The staff were also genuinely warm and helpful throughout.
What to be aware of:
The hotel itself feels quite dated, and the bathroom in particular could use a refresh as it felt a bit worn and not as clean as expected. The biggest drawback, though, is the shuttle service. There’s no clear timetable available online, the schedule is limited, and you must reserve in advance. This made it difficult to plan our departure, especially when we wanted to leave early for a bus to Kyoto but couldn’t because the first shuttle wasn’t until around 8:45 AM.
Overall:
With some updates and a more flexible, clearly communicated shuttle schedule, this could be a great stay. As it stands, it’s best suited for those planning to relax at the hotel rather than come and go frequently.
