This hotel was beautifully designed, clean and friendly staff. The dinner and breakfast buffet were full of a delicious variety of dishes. We chose the cable cars to get there which was a fantastic way of exploring the area from above, but the hotel’s shuttle was super convenient for our departure.

The room Onsen was great! Dinner in our Yakutia’s was a very pleasant treat. Sad we only stayed one night! We will be back!

We stayed in a Japanese -Western Deluxe Lakeside Room with Open-Air Bath Pros: - the resort provided a free shuttle bus that picked us up from Odawara Station and also dropped us off at the station on our departing day - quiet, new resort - organized check-in - within walking distance to the Hakone Ropeway Pirate ship - scenic views from the reception and dining rooms Cons: - the view of the lake was obstructed by the privacy screens on the balcony - located on the main road which was noisy - the dining times were a narrow window of time. Both dinner and breakfast times were extremely busy and crowded. Because it was buffet style, it was a bit chaotic. This definitely took away from the calm, peaceful tranquility that we were seeking. It was loud and every table was occupied. It diminished any positive experience. - the quantity of food was plentiful but the quality was average. - Check-out time is 10am which is early, as compared to other hotels/resorts. And there was no early check-in and was strictly adhered to 3pm. We arrived at 2pm and had to wait around for check-on.

Beautiful hotel and amazing room with view to lake. The room is very spacious and well designed. The sitting area with a tatami style matt recessed to the floor is a beautiful touch. It’s a big hotel, so expect a little busy with guests. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant could get a little busy with many people. Food is decently good. Buffet style could get a little chaotic with large amount of people of all cultures and ages going around. Short walking distance to cable car station and boat terminal. Onsen is nice and clean.

This place was amazing, the staff is very courteous, the place is cozy and clean, and it is very close to Togendai Port, which connects you to the ship, ropeway and bus lines. This was the rest we needed in our long trip. I definitely recommend this place and would return if possible.
