"Had an amazing stay at this resort. The rooms were really spacious and so comfortable to sleep in. The pools were never full so it was super easy to get a sun lounger and the free towels to use were so handy. The staff at the pool bars were so helpful especially at the Pomelo pool which was also over 12s only therefore relaxed and quiet. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and the shuttle bus service around the resort was a great service. I would definitely recommend a stay at this...

"Ignore the slightly perfunctory greeting at the ao po marina office - this place is incredible. We had a 2 bed pool villa and I think it will never be beaten in terms of view and comfort. My tips: 1. take a plug adapter (no international plug in room) 2. make sure you have cash as some restaurants/bars around the resort only take cash and the atm at the local shop is frequently out of order…. 3. "The staff at this hotel were all amazing, helpful, and kind. The location is right across from patong beach which was very convenient, as well as there were lots of taxis available just outside the hotel. The deluxe room with the separate bedroom was so great and spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only problem with the room was that the AC in the bedroom was leaking quite a lot at some times, but the other AC in the kitchen worked fine. Overall, we were very happy with our stay...

We have seen the resort change and improve over the years but the basic characteristics are the same: a very large resort along a beach which is almost predominantly used by hotel guests with a number of small restaurants and shops on the outside of the resort and 5 or six within the resort. We came originally as a couple and now we have three children and it is still brilliant. "
