"The Moorings is a little piece of heaven on the island of Phuket. Removed from the hustle and bustle of the bigger beach towns, it sits on its own quiet beach. Crystal clear water , beautiful walks between coves and a space that has been frozen in time ! The rooms are super comfortable and clean with direct access to the pool and beach. "Beach bungalows on a deserted island, and yes, it IS a deserted island. Our stay at this resort on Ko Lon was probably the most memorable part of our trip to Thailand. The bungalows were very spacious and elegant, with fairly nice finishing throughout. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful- it felt like we were staying with friends! "Absolutely stunning hotel. From the moment you arrive, you are treated like royalty. A very smooth check in process, greeted with a welcome drink and cold towel. Lovely reception staff who then take you to your villa/room by buggy and show you the room features. We stayed in a villa and it was incredible - beautiful room & well equipped.
