We (family of 3) had a very good stay at The Pines. The hotel is new, well maintained with very spacious rooms and very helpful staff. I had selected the deluxe room with twin beds. The room was VERY big with a "living room" which you normally don't get in a Deluxe room. The room was very clean, and was well maintained. The bathroom was clean with all the normal amenities. The "kitchen" area had a mini-fridge, sink & cupboards. I guess if they can put in a microwave oven & some cutlery, it could very well be considered as a serviced apartment.
There is a shuttle service from the Hotel to the town which is quite convenient.
FRom the past visits, there is not much improvement in terms of refurbishment.THe facilities looks old, the doors right from the lobby till the room doors are wobbling and the handles shaky.
The toilets , have stains, and the metal pieces, are rusting.
Hot water? Its a joke we never had it during our stay!
Its better to install Solar panel, we are assured of some mild hot water.
The contractors doing the job, , keep noice to the minimum, they spoiled my morning rest!
Towels had to be asked everyday, or sometimes only one is given, cos we are fully booked!
