"I came for a week from the US to visit my daughter who's studying in Florence for a semester. Her study abroad advisor recommended the Social Hub. The location was great - walking distance to her school (SRISA), SMN train station, etc. The coffeemaker in the room was a big plus for me; the hot water pot was a nice bonus. "I had overall an excellent stay at the Hotel Calimala Florence. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. It was excellently located. I thought the bathroom a bit cramped, but I had a small room anyway. The breakfast buffet was fine, just not at the price they had it. I did enjoy dinner there, though. Overall it worked out very very well. For other travelers, I will point out that there are two buildings very close together; the one with the rooftop restaurant is "Angel Roofbar & Dining"...

"The minute I/we walked in, we were in awe. Very bright and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable. The view into the garden was breathtaking.
