"A fabulous few days staying at the Flom hotel in Florence. Staff were so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. We were in the Depandance which was beautiful and had the most amazing view of the Duomo! With easy walking distance of all that Florence has to offer. We would thoroughly recommend."

"I traveled with my wife and stood 2 nights. The host, Leonardo provided great service and helped with recommending places to eat. The room was small, the bed was slightly uncomfortable. The shower stall was small. There was not enough closet space or drawers to store our clothes; however, we made it through two nights. We liked that the B&B was centrally located within walking distance to various landmarks, restaurants, the train station, and was very quiet at night."

"STAY AWAY!!!! Great hotel location. Everything else SUCKS. Giovanni is front staff in evening. He is absolutely terrible. Will never go back because of him. Zero customer service and rude. In any other countrytt, he would be fired the first day if he doesn’t get knocked out first.Day staff girl was fantastic but Giovanni needs to be banned from any hospitality business. Sad for such a great location hotel to lose business for one person. Pathetic."

"We stayed in the Romance Suite, it was VERY spacious, two bathrooms, comfortable bed, sitting area, and a balcony - though not wide enough to sit, it was long enough to walk. Rooftop pool with lots of space to lounge and get a drink at the rooftop bar. Very classy and high quality throughout. Good location, quiet. Amazing staff."

"Great location across from the train station and easily walkable to the Duomo, restaurants, cafe’s, shopping, etc. I have stayed here three or four times and the staff are wonderful and I see the same staff year after year which says a lot. The breakfast buffet is not to be missed and includes Prosecco because when in Italy you must start your day with Prosecco! And end your day on the hotel’s Rooftop Bar! The instructions were not crystal clear and they don’t have a reception, so finding the right gate (left side of the cafeteria in the corner) was tricky as it didn’t have any sign as well. After we’ve learned how it works and where it was everything else was great. "NOT a family place at all. Can't sleep in the night due to the noise being caused by other people in the hotel, at night you can't do anything about it. There's no one to call, no one outside in the lobby or on the floor where the rooms were. Horrible customer service. The washroom is so small. Especially shower area is so tiny, you are not able to move a step. You can't take a shower properly. Elevator is only for suits cases use, it cannot hold more people it's so old. "Nice stay-except for the steps. It’s a very old building, 3rd floor, high ceilings, no elevator. I was not expecting so many steps and with a problem knee it was rough. The A/C worked well, bed was comfortable with nice linens and the staff were very nice and helpful. Right beside Mercato, which is nice- but you have to run the gauntlet of leather hawkers everytime you arrive or depart. Overall good stay, but those steps were brutal."
