Beautiful hotel with stunning grounds, amenities, and garden. One of our favorite places we’ve stayed in recent travels. Great dining experience at the restaurant our first night - my wife has one of the best pasta dishes she’s had there. Great location, free shuttle with return to Florence, and a wonderful stay. I wish we had booked another night here on our trip to enjoy the garden more.

An oasis away from the cacophony of a busy Florence city centre. Yet well connected thanks to the shuttle service that’s well ran by the hotel staff. Good restaurant and breakfast. Lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Well worth staying here if you want a quiet place rather than the huddle and bustle of a typical Florentine city centre hotel. The views from the restaurant terrace and hotel gardens are amazing.

Beautiful property. Enjoying a meal or a drink in the garden was peaceful and calming. The room was spacious. The shower was a little small, but it had a rain shower and I loved that. The breakfast was wonderful. Everyone was kind and helpful.

We stayed here for a couple of days and had a great time. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of pastries, cheeses, cold meats, fruit and eggs. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant a few times. The staff was friendly and the property was well kept. The garden was lovely. On our final night we had an issue with ants in the room but other than that it was fine.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the staff was wonderful to us! They took our luggage to the room upon arrival and shuttled us to town. The grounds are beautiful. Next time we would stay longer! We hired a taxi and went to a small winery that was a great experience. St Agnes’s farm. You need a reservation. Fantastic wines!!

A beautiful historic property that makes you feel as if you're in the heart of Tuscany, but convenient to Florence. The room was comfortable and the restaurant and bar were quite good. The shuttle service into Florence was very welcome and prompt. I suggest doing some advance research on the history of the property before you get there - it's fascinating. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property. The restaurant and breakfast are great. Rooms are cozy and quaint. To consider there shuttle is only to get you to the bridge and walk or cab from there to wherever you’re going. It’s the distance from places such as stores restaurants be prepared for any extra needs of expenses such as bottled water or snacks. Make sure the wine card you prepay for self serve you return for credit it’s $10 a glass and it’s about three sips. But beautiful place and great for quiet and privacy.

Beautiful property up in the Arcetri hills with real quiet and a view over Florence you don't get in the center. Rooms were clean and the grounds are lovely. Staff were helpful and sorted our transport both arriving and leaving, which mattered on a morning with an early train. Worth knowing it's a hill above the city, not a walk with luggage, so plan on a taxi. If you want calm at the end of the day rather than stepping straight into the crowds, it's a good trade.
