"We loved our stay from the start. The staff we lovely and very helpful, so nice to walk in to a big smile. The accommodation is basic pub accommodation with ensuite. It's clean, comfortable, warm, safe, quiet and beautiful. Don't bother booking here if you don't want to walk up stairs as there is no elevator, nor should there be. It's 183 years old!!! Just appreciate the history! "

"I liked how it was close to everything in town, just walk out onto the street. It is very convenient with a resturant and everything I needed. There is also a postshop in walking distance. You don’t have to walk far for walking tracks."

"An enjoyable stay. I loved the stain glass windows. The good at the bistro was fab. It would be good to fix up the exterior parts of the hotel because it is a great place."
