"Lovely property stayed on the heritage side which is nice but noticed the light switches are falling off the walls and probabaly the worst shower I’ve ever had in a motel.. every 10 seconds goes from scalding to freezing cold no matter what you do"

"We loved the Rendezvous hotel for its prime location, near to Flinders Street station and tram routes. We had a fabulous welcome from Ryan on reception who gave us Brits lots of tips about places to visit and how to get around the city. It is a beautiful historic building, the public areas downstairs were gorgeous. Some of the upstairs hallways could have done with a good clean/vacuum and, although our room was well appointed and superficially clean, there was a lot of dust around the fridge and the carpets were grubby in hard to reach spots. The breakfast buffet was excellent, just one downside was a lack of hot plates. Despite a few niggles with housekeeping, we would stay here again."

"Stayed in room 220 Saturday 11/4 Toilet had faeces on it upon check in. Told reception staff and requested it be cleaned which was never done, had to clean it myself. Shower and overall cleanliness of the room was very poor - spilt coffee stain on the breakfast bench and shower screen had soap on the screen which would indicate it was not cleaned sufficiently "
